Coding a text adventure game sounded easy when I first sat down to create The Arbiter: Episode 1 (part of a planned series of adventures for this character). As time has gone on, the complexity of the project has been laid bare.
This week, I’ve made some significant progress for the game; but it hasn’t been easy. We’ve started work on a complex logic puzzle that will have to be completed in the following episode, because just getting it all set up was a job in and of itself.
